Description
The Olive Hotspot Cruncher is a subtle but deadly fly for reservoir and smallwater trout. Featuring a fluorescent green thorax for extra attraction. this pattern can be used on a floating line or midge tip when fish are feeding on buzzer, corixa, damsel and olive nymphs. Crunchers in general are a great pattern to use when nymphing, however they excel when fish are feeding high in the water to allow a slower descent, keeping your flies in the feeding zone for longer. The Jenkins’ Olive Hotspot Cruncher is available in both size 10 and size 12 to help you best match the hatch.
