The Violet caddis is predominately a summer fly that works best during evening hours when fish are feeding hard on sedges. It’s a very good caddis pattern for active fish, but it can also drag the fish up when they aren’t rising. A great addition to the Tactical range from former multiple world champion, Lubos Roza.
