The Semperfli 6/0 150 denier range of Classic Waxed Threads (CWT) have been designed specifically for fly tying for large Salmon, Predator, Streamer flies and for deer hair spinning with its great strength and usually used on hook sizes 8 or larger. Classic Waxed Thread threads are unique; laying flat with a two core construction but can easily be split to create dubbing loops and they are strong threads. Semperfli worked with their Pro Team to get the correct amount of wax on each thread to hold materials but not clog your bobbin holder with Thread. Having developed and manufactured their own computerised spooling machinery Classic Waxed Thread is put onto the spool with touching turns in totally level traverse, why is this important? With Classic Waxed Thread 6/0 you will not get a birds nest when tying flies!
