The feature is a thin bat and a two-step taper that realizes two contradictory elements of turnover ability and drift ability at a high level. Many long leaders from other manufacturers have thick bats and emphasize turnover, but LDL is a leader for long drift. The secret is that the thin butt and the first taper are steep, and the second taper and the tippet part, which have almost no taper, have a two-step tippet shape. This steep taper produces a minimum turnover, and the tippet part is loosely slacked, which makes a difference in drift ability.
15-foot leader
Not only can you add 6 feet of tippet to a total length of 21 feet, but you can also use 15 feet as it is.

Of course, you can use it as it is, but please add 3ft to 6ft of tippet. Since the turnover is better than 15ft, it is also effective for large flies. It is also recommended as an introduction to the long leader tippet system.
