Dry Fly Rooster Necks come from a physically small bird. Although the feathers are not long, they are naturally dry with very stiff barbs. These little birds are from India and are closely related to their native wild fowl. Originally, they were the only good source of stiff dry fly hackle.
- DFRA Grade 1 (A) – Very dry with a good feather count. Wider hackle with some web, not as long or as stiff.
