Classic Waxed Thread 18/0 is part of the Semperfli 18/0 30 denier range of Classic Waxed Threads (CWT) which have been designed specifically for fly tying for midges and all micro flies. Classic Waxed Thread 18/0 is usually used on hook sizes 14 to 32. These threads are unique; laying flat with a two core construction but can easily be split to create dubbing loops and they are strong threads. Semperfli worked with their Pro Team to get the correct amount of wax on each thread to hold materials but not clog your bobbin holder. Having developed and manufactured their own computerised spooling machinery Classic Waxed Thread 18/0 is put onto the spool with touching turns in totally level traverse, why is this important? With Classic Waxed Thread you will not get a birds nest when tying flies!
